Italian design home Zagato has taken the wraps off its newest creation – the AGTZ Twin Tail. It’s a tribute to the Alpine A220 that raced at Le Mans within the late 60s.
The Zagato AGTZ Twin Tail, quick for Alpine Grand Tourer Zagato, is basically a rebodied Alpine A110 sports activities automobile. The lengthy tail design harks again to the Le Mans racer. However the distinctive factor about that is that it may be remodeled into a brief tail for every day use.
Aside from the elongated tail part, the AGTZ Twin Tail seems like a neo-retro Alpine A220. It even comes with a retro livery that includes the French tricolore on the rear part.
The Zagato AGTZ Twin Tail is powered by a 1.8-lire, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 249 hp. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch computerized that sends energy to the rear axle, permitting the automobile to speed up from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds.
Zagato is constructing 19 examples of the AGTZ, with a base worth of €650,000. The automobile shall be introduced on the 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
