Bear in mind the Lamborghini Egoista? The unconventional idea that was showcased in 2013 as a part of the supercar model’s fiftieth anniversary celebrations. Studies counsel that it has been offered to a non-public collector for an insane sum.
Based on Supercar Blondie, an unnamed collector paid $117 million for the one-off idea automotive, making it the most costly Lamborghini ever offered.
The Egoista, which interprets to “egocentric”, is a single-seater supercar with a fighter jet-inspired design. It has a slim nostril part and an aggressive rear fascia with twin rectangular vents mimicking the engine nozzles on a fighter jet.
Powering the Egoista is a 5.2-liter V10 engine from the Lamborghini Gallardo, which produces round 600 hp. Whereas it’s a very working automotive, it isn’t homologated for road use.
