Bugatti Bolide: First customer cars begin testing ahead of delivery

The manufacturing of the Bugatti Bolide is underway on the Molsheim atelier. With the primary buyer automobiles rolling off the meeting line, Bugatti has commenced the pre-delivery exams. The automobiles are being put by their paces on a racetrack earlier than being handed over to the purchasers.

The Bolide is Bugatti’s final observe hypercar. Initially launched as an idea, the automaker determined to construct 40 examples priced at $4 million a chunk.

The Bugatti Bolide relies on a bespoke carbon fibre chassis that has been developed to adjust to LMh and LMDh laws and meets all security norms laid down by the FIA. It’s powered by the legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine that generates 1577 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque. Because of a dry weight of 1450 kg, this observe hypercar has an insane power-to-weight ratio of greater than 1100 hp per tonne!
